ACCESSING INFORMATION FROM THE INTERNET:

Remember to ask yourself the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and WHY evaluation questions when accessing information from an internet website.


This chart is a visual reminder of things to think about when researching on the internet.



NOTE: Websites such as Wikipedia are not reference sources and should not be considered such when citing sources. You may use Wikipedia for background knowledge or to acquire further resources.

Google, Eric, the Library of Congress, and EBSCO are just a few of the resources available through this engine. Enter your search term and then click one of the platforms. This is a great way to cross-reference search results.
